SPREAD SMILES WITH THE DELI THROUGH FOOD THIS FESTIVE WEEK

The coming week is full of celebrations; from Raksha Bandhan, Bakri Eid, Parsi New Year and then the biggest of them all, the Indian Independence Day! We at Indigo Deli firmly believe that there is no better way to celebrate such joyous occasions than sharing the joy with not-so-privileged people!

The Deli chefs have curated a special five-course meal, available at all outlets of Indigo Deli from 12th to the 18th of August-2019. The meal is priced at Rs. 1000 plus taxes, with a glass of famous Indigo Deli Sangria going with it. 20% of the sales accrued from these dinners across all Delis through the week shall be donatedto  Maitri foundations Prerna Special School, a small organization committed to creating a special school for the community where speech and hearing-impaired children get equal opportunities for education for their overall development and family improvement.

This 5-course set menu features a well curated selection of non-vegetarian as well as vegetarian options and the spread promises a culinary treat which is set to make your senses soar! To begin with, you’ll be exploring this menu with appetizers that includes Chef’s Own Vegetarian Platter which includes Artichoke Gilawati, Tofu, Shitake and Chestnut Wonton and the Pickled Chili and Rosemary Cottage Cheese. The Non-vegetarian Platter has the Kafir Lime and Kokum scented chicken skewers, Bombay Duck Croquettes and the Double-Cooked Soy Chili Pork.

There’s nothing more comforting than a warm hearty soup for the soul in this weather and the chefs at the Deli have come with the Rustic Tomato Saar which is a home-style chunky tomato soup tempered with mustard & asafoetida or the   Sri Lankan Lamb Broth. Their 3rd course is light and hearty with the Charred Mozzarella Salad and Argentinian Chicken and Melon Seed Salad, both which will brighten up your day and are super fresh yet delicious!  Coming to the mains; vegetarians can choose from either the Asian Lentil Cake, Spiced Eggplant Steak -, the classic Burmese Khausuey and Ancient Grain Risotto with flavours that will linger on with diners long after the meal. Non vegetarians can opt from varied options that include the Mexican Grilled Chicken, Kolkata inspired Prawn Curry, an authentic bowl of Beef Bulgogi and theFettuccini Carbonara.

Say bye-bye to your diet for a great cause with the Chef’s Own Dessert Platter that has Chocolate Mocha Brulee, Blueberry Baked Yoghurt and homemade Roasted Hazelnut ice cream.

About  Maitri foundations Prerna Special School
The school accepts children of all ages; unlike normal children these children are assessed for their competence levels and the pace of their curriculum is formulated to meet the guildelines of the SSC board. The school aims to develop these special kids into self-sufficient beings and integrate them into regular stream of society to perform to the best of their abilities.
